We are excited to post that Nick Howard is working diligently in studio this month with producer Marshall Altman (Matt Nathanson, Natasha Bedingfield, Adema).

Nick Howard Confirms Summerfest 2010 Appearance

This July 3rd Nick Howard will be making his second appearance at the world’s largest music festival, Summerfest, in Wisconsin. Last year Nick performed for thousands of fans and festival goers with friends Green River Ordinance and Gavin DeGraw. This year, however, Nick will appear with Counting Crows.

Similar to last year, Nick will be featured on the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse stage with a start time of 6PM.

The film will premier at The Dallas International Film Festival on Monday April 12th with a follow-up screening on Thursday April 15th at the Angelika Theater. Eric Mingus Touchdowns In Vancouver…

For back to back dates this week (February 18th & February 19th) Eric Mingus will be a featured vocalist and bassist for the widely anticipated “Hal Wilner’s Neil Young Project” which will be performed at the Cultural Olympiad as a part of the 2010 Winter Olympics. These two performances will only mark the project’s second performance for the public; Eric Mingus is one of a just a handful of talented performers who have been invited back to make an appearance in the production’s newest manifestation after being featured in the show’s first run some years ago.

Not to be confused or considered an actual ‘tribute,’ these performers pay homage not so much to Neil Young the man, but rather, to his expanded catalog of penned compositions. The crew at the Olympiad, under the direction of Hal Wilner, will look to expose new audiences to various tunes written by Young that may have been missed by the general public, and also, make some of those more familiar tunes performed by Neil Young regularly take new form and shape.

Eric is overjoyed to be a part of these wonderful events.

Nick Howard & NACA Nationals…What A Power Couple!

This weekend marks NACA‘s 50th Anniversary and Nick Howard‘s first appearance at one the thriving, collegiate organization’s many popular conferences held throughout the year. This year, however, Nick is not on the bill to perform (suprised? Yeah so were we). Instead, Nick will be on hand at a booth on the convention floor during all of the marketplace events hanging with you! He will have loads of swag to give away and has even received some help from some great friends and products that he uses personally on the road including Chop Saver.

If you are in the Boston Area between February 13th and February 16th, and are in town representing your college, then come down to the Hynes Convention Center, find Nick’s booth, and get your free goods! We will have autograph sessions on tap during all the meet and greets and potentially a first hand look at the new Nick Howard iPhone Application which will be available in iTunes store soon.

We are hoping that through your support and the support of the students attending the event, you will vote for Nick Howard this weekend for Onsite Selection; basically, vote to hear Nick Howard live this weekend on stage…in Boston…for free!

Eric Mingus w/ Tracy Bonham This Week!

In preparation for the release of her newest studio album this Spring, Tracy Bonham will be hosting a live residency at New York’s- own Cornelia Street Cafe from February 3 – May 5 2010 (the first Wednesday of each month).

To kick-off the series Tracy has reached out to our own Eric Mingus to celebrate the maiden voyage of her monthly appearances.
